What really fueled them about it, I’m sure, was the fact that it was poetry in a glass, they were drinking a distiller’s poetry and it inspired them and filled them up with the desire to do more of what they did.

Hyperbole aside, good absinthe is delightful once you’ve acquired the taste for it.
