  But most importantly, I’m freely expressing my ideas in public, which helps me clarify my thoughts, enhance and alter my views, and improve my writing over time.

  Go read the full post, I think he absolutely nails the issues inherent on being a writer (or any kind of creator) on the internet.  I highly recommend following Marco’s blog too, he’s articulate, interesting and not afraid to shake things up.  Oh, and he’s behind two of my favorite web services Tumblr and Instapaper.
